Torch on felt roofing is one of the oldest and most traditional methods of flat roofing and still one of the most commonly used methods today.

Torch on is used for both repair and replacing of felt roofs and is most commonly used for garages, extensions, kitchens, sheds and outbuildings.

The different types of torch on felt roofing

Torch on roofing is available in two layers and three layer systems. Usually a three layer system is applied using a vapour control layer.

Customers can choose from a plain black bitumen finish with solar reflective paint or a mineral fleck in different colours consisting of green, black or blue.
